• Upon installation of Quick Heal on the infected system, network or Internet connection is not available.
• Quick Heal Virus Protection and other protection are disabled.

Following are the step to install the tool

• 1. Download the Removal tool at temporary location. e.g. C:\Temp
• 2. Execute the Removal tool. (In case of Windows Vista and above need to run tool as Administrator.)
• 3. If infection found, it will ask to restart the system.
• 4. After restart perform memory scan using updated Quick Heal AntiVirus. Memory scanner will detect %WinDir%\installer\{***}\syshost.exe file and remove it.

The locations where the updates are downloaded have to be turned into a website by the Administrator using IIS or Apache server. The URL of the created website and Port number can be used by Quick Heal Update Manager on the server to fetch the updates from this machine. The clients in the network, in turn, will fetch the updates from the server.
• Quick Heal Update Manager can also be used as an alternate update manager for Quick Heal Endpoint Security clients.
